  12. As we grow and mature in God a natural reaction is that we want to start using the gifts that God has given us to serve others. This is how we BECOME all that God wants us to be. We start to fulfill the destiny that God has for our lives and use our gifts and abilities to help others in a way that brings honor and glory to God. This is what Jesus said: “Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men” God knows that each of us are at a different stage of our spiritual journey and he wants us to keep growing.

The ABA Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization registered under the laws of Uganda and the Foundation is validated by an "Apostille" based on The Hague Convention held on 5th October 1961, (Certificates issued by one country can be officially legalized in other countries).

The objectives of ABA Foundation are Helping People Live Better Life and to promote the Socio-Economic Welfare of the Vulnerable Communities especially the Disaster Affected People, Destitute Children, Orphans, People staying in the Camps and Poor Families affected by HIV / AIDS.

Uganda is a country slightly smaller than the state of Oregon, USA and is home to more than 37 million people. Uganda, while having a relatively stable government and substantial natural resources, is still a country with much suffering. The 40 year average life-span is evidence of the harsh social climate. Disease and war have taken the toll of the people of Uganda. By 2011, more than 1,500,000 children under the age of 14 had lost their parents to AIDS. Many others have lost their parents to war. Thousands live in tent cities and the situation in Uganda is considered to be one of the worst humanitarian emergencies in the world. With an estimated 64% of the population living at or below poverty, the orphaned children of Uganda are desperate for our help!

Uganda has been through several Humanitarian Crisis including Civil Conflict, Food Crisis, Floods, Refugee influx, Persistent Droughts, Human Trafficking, HIV/AIDS Pandemic etc. This has left the People in Uganda in Great Need of Resources, including Medical Resources to help with the Major effects these Crises have had on the overall Health of the Nation.

We provide them with Disaster Relief and Material Support in form of Clothing, Mattresses, Blankets, Food Aid, Safe Drinking Water, Medication, Wash Rooms, and Shelter among others.

We offer Scholastic Materials to needy school going children such as Uniforms, Books, Pens, Pencils, Tuition Fees, Shoes, Sanitary Pads, School bags etc. We are also a voice to the voiceless in a bid to seeking justice and promotion of Human Rights.

We equip Refugees and other Vulnerable Groups with Vocational Training Skills to enable them earn a living. Recent research indicated that 89% of Refugees and People staying in Internally Displaced Camps engage in prostitution which has led to an increase in HIV / AIDS scourge. These Technical and Vocational Training Centers are meant to empower them, Fight Poverty and Combat the spread of HIV / AIDS.

We empower Women, Youth, Children, Widow, Widowers, Refugees, Disabled and Elderly through Capacity building. We also run Home Care Bay and Rehabilitation Homes. We do Training, Counseling, Discipleship, Evangelism and Missionary Work.

  14. Great list I have heard sermons from most of the people on the list. It is a pity that most comments are from people who want to see their favourite preachers on the list none of whom I have ever heard of. It does not make them less important, but their reach is not that extensive.
A preacher like Desmond Tutu, whilst I am not really into his style of preaching, I can understand why he is on the list.He is known worldwide and his views are respected by religious and political people all over the world.
